PrimeOS - Android OS for PCs

Recently, a group of members of the XDA Developers - JuniorPrimeOS forum released PrimeOS, an alternative to the Android emulator for PCs, with good support for legacy devices or modest hardware configurations. . 


What is PrimeOS? 

Basically PrimeOS is an Android based desktop operating system, separated from the Android-x86 project, but has many improvements and features some more attractive than the original version. Similar to the Remix OS or Phoenix OS , PrimeOS supports well-equipped large-screen devices and external accessories such as mice, headsets or keyboards deliver accurate performance.


Features PrimeOS:

Experience the same as on a Windows computer
  • Many features provide the same experience as on a computer with Start Menu, Taskbar etc ...
  • Support multiple windows, allow shrink, close or resize, etc.
  • Option to turn off all apps or open windows on device
  • Full support for familiar Windows shortcuts like Alt + Tab, Alt + F4, Win + D etc.
  • Provides necessary features for the computer
  • The taskbar has the ability to pin applications, display notification and system icons
Good support for playing games or installing apps from Google Play
  • Gaming by keyboard and mouse (activate support mode with F12 key).
  • Built-in joystick controls for popular titles like PUBG Mobile, Subway Surf, etc.

Note that PrimeOS is currently in development so it is possible to encounter issues that arise during use. Also, there is a predefined bug such as Bluetooth can not work, incompatible hardware on some devices etc. ..

You can now download the ISO PrimeOS file at the link below and create a USB install with Rufus (I will update the instructions in more detail later).
