Xiaomi Mi 9 may be the first smartphone equipped with the Snapdragon 8150 processor

The latest high-end smartphone launched by Xiaomi, Mi MIX 3, still uses the dual camera module for the main camera, similar to the Mi 8 and Mi MIX 2S, but everything will be different in the Xiaomi Mi 9 generation. Leaks from supply sources for Xiaomi will be announced in the first half of 2018 at a separate event in China with a triple-lens camera system and in particular, will become the first device. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 microprocessor.

More specifically, with the new camera system on the Mi 9, this will be the all-new camera module using the Sony IMX586 48 megapixel sensor. The device's RAM will be 6GB or 8GB, but it's likely that Xiaomi will follow the current trend with the highest-end version of the Mi9 with 10GB of RAM. One of the more "obvious" features is that the Mi 9 will have a built-in fingerprint sensor under the display and will support wireless charging technology and added a standard anti-dust and waterproofing.

Qualcomm is still developing its next-generation high-end processor, the Snapdragon 8150. Earlier, the chip was called Snapdragon 855 and will be manufactured on TSMC's 7nm line. a separate neural processor to serve the artificial intelligence system of the device. The famous Roland Quandt shared on Twitter that the single-chip architecture of the Snapdragon 8150 is very similar to Huawei's Kirin 980 processor.
